Donate your excess harvest to the hungry in your community

ecoTending, Inc is a Florida Not-For-Profit corporation whose mission is to sell edible trees and plants through a registered nursery and to educate the general public on the benefits of growing their own food.

ecoTending, Inc also has free programs that helps community organizations harvest food from trees that would otherwise go to waste and to distribute that harvested, fresh food to the needy, hungry and homeless through independent food pantries within the community served.

As an individual landowner, either developed or undeveloped, ecoTending, Inc will assist you in planning and donating your excess harvest to organizations that help feed the hungry in your community.

ecoTending, Inc has many programs for the individual landowner, including education, planting and harvesting of fruit, nuts and other foodstuffs on your property, when available. ecoTending, Inc will also assist neighborhoods, and communities, to develop food cooperative programs.

As the primary goal of ecoTending, Inc is to eliminate hunger worldwide by 2020, we are seeking partners to open up local chapters within Iowa.

Our message is simple, by planting fruit and nut trees in abundance within local communities, along with developing community gardens and farms, hunger can be eliminated.

The environmental movement, with recycling, tree planting, and everything green, was a great first step in mass awareness of how we must protect the Earth. And, how we must protect everything on the Earth, including it's delicate ecosystems, organisms, plants and animals. But, it only addresses the symptoms of the disease without looking for a cure.

We want your help to take it to the next level!

Let's help turn this mass awareness of the Earth into purpose.

At ecoTending, we believe in looking at the Earth, and all of it's many wonderful gifts, with a purpose of eliminating hunger, as well as many other social problems plaguing our lives.
